Tryfan

Photo 65 - Snowdonia

Sunday 10th March, 2002, was a wild day. Heavy overnight snow and rain coupled with gale force winds made walking almost impossible. This view of the upper reached of Nant Francon (Snowdonia) includes Tryfan and the impressive swollen waterfalls just below Ogwen Cottage. The wind was so strong it was lifting large quantities of water from Llyn Idwal and dumping it on the A5!
