Our accommodation is ‘on island’ which means when everyone leaves Holy Island, you can stay and enjoy a completely different type of island, eerily peaceful with deserted beaches and wonderful walks. Lindisfarne castle looms majestically over the harbour which is within walking distance from our front door. Our studio accommodation is designed to luxury hotel standards. We have three rooms at Belvue Guesthouse - two king-size luxury studios with kitchenette and one ‘no frills’ twin room – the budget option. All our rooms include an en suite bathroom with rainfall shower, fluffy towels, luxury toiletries and underfloor heating in the bathrooms. Enjoy extra-comfy mattresses with quality linen. There is on-site parking. Each room has coffee/tea-making facilities. Smart TV with Freeview, fast free wifi and USB charging sockets provide help you keep in touch.

Our luxury studio accommodation also includes a dining table, stylish kitchenette with sink, fridge, microwave and toaster, cutlery and crockery, artisan coffee, iron and board, an in-room safe plus a two-seater sofa (Reiver Studio only).

Breakfast is not included in any of our rooms (the studios are self catering, and the ‘no frills’ room is, well… no frills), but village cafés are only 2-3 minutes walk from the property, as are the local pubs, which offer excellent meals although booking is recommended.

Walking in the area

Holy Island offers a variety of walks and easy strolls which enable you to explore the island's attractions and coastline. In season the island is home to a wide variety of birds. Off-island you are close to the Northumberland National Park which offers a range of walks from easy valley strolls to more demanding hill walks.
