Information for Walkers
The Brecon Beacons National Park offers a wide range of walking from gentle afternoon strolls through to hard high level hill walking. Containing the highest mountain in South Wales, Pen-y-Fan, the national park also contains a number of other summits that provide worthwhile objectives for a day walk. On the lower ground, the park authority maintains a large network of well-signed footpaths that criss-cross the varying landscapes.
