Book Review - Walking with the Famous ... and the Infamous

Book cover imageThe latest book from Roger Seedhouse concentrates once more on Shropshire although this time the walks are based on people from the past who have lived in the County.

Walks vary in length from short excursions to more lengthy hikes. Charles Darwin, Clive of India and Thomas Telford form the basis of the walks with the famous - with the infamous being formed from five 'interesting' characters ...

My favourite? The nine and a half mile route titled "Thomas Telford 1" that includes Pontcysyllte Aqueduct near Chirk.
