Harter Fell with a descent to rocky Nan Bield Pass are highlights of this Lake District walk from Mardale Head. Mardale Head is a wonderful location with mountains on three sides of the valley at the head of Haweswater. This walk includes a fairly stiff climb but the rewards are fine views throughout. Wainwrights included in this walk are - Harter Fell. A GPS File is available for download (see walk description). A route profile is also provided.
