This North Pennine walk explores the high land to the south west of Middleton-in-Teesdale. The route combines the rugged moorland of Harter Fell and Crossthwaite Common with the beauty of Holwick Scars and the pastures alongside the River Tees. The walk also includes a section of The Pennine Way. A GPS File is available for download (see walk description).
