An excellent Lake District walk that includes many of the scenic highlights to the north of Coniston village. For many Tarn Hows epitomises the many characters of the Lakeland landscape with rocky outcrops and a beautiful tarn. A short ascent to the summit of Tom Heights provides an wonderful panorama over the area and fells. A GPS File is available for download (see walk description).
