Author - Daniel Patrick Quinn

Length - 18.0 miles / 29.3 km

Ascent - 6100 feet / 1848 metres

Foinaven and Arkle are located to the south of Cape Wrath in the north-western tip of mainland Britain. The quartzite rock from which they are made glitters marvellously in the sunshine, and Foinaven's imposing main ridge can be seen from many miles south. Please remember that this is a serious undertaking even for experienced hill walkers so go well prepared.

Please maintain social distancing - keep at least 2 metres away from other walkers. Travel restrictions for exercise in Wales and Scotland will be lifted in early July.
