A circular walk exploring the countryside around Danzey Green. The route starts from Danzey station which is served by trains between Birmingham and Stratford-on-Avon. The route uses field paths and bridleways and passes through the village of Tanworth-in-Arden, with its fine church, and explores the Umberslade Park. Refreshments are available at The Bell in Tanworth-in-Arden.

Exit Danzey station car park onto a lane and turn left. Cross the railways and turn first right along a track which recrosses the railway. Pass between farm buildings and when the main track bends left continue ahead to follow a bridleway with a hedge on your right. Entering the next field join a grassy track with the hedge now on your right. The track arcs right and then bends left through a hedge gap. Keep ahead to pass to the right of barns to reach Forde Hall Lane (grid ref. SP115693).

Turn right along the lane to reach a small wood on your right after 700 metres. Turn right at the waymarked stile and the follow the path heading north along the left-hand edge of fields. In the third field the path veers left and leads to Well Lane in Tanworth-in-Arden (grid ref. SP114704). Turn left along the lane into the centre of the village. The Bell is opposite, if you need refreshments, and the parish church is on your right. Turn right along the Green After 300 metres you reach the entrance gates to the Umberslade Estate with a waymark indicating the right of way.

Follow the drive for two kilometres to reach Umberslade Road (grid ref. SP134713). Opposite is the private entrance to Umberslade Hall. Turn right along the road and after 600 metres turn right along a track with a stile on the right of gates. The track runs besides trees on your right. Nearing the end of the trees the path leaves to the left. The route briefly passes through a plantation and 140 metres after leaving the trees you reach a path junction (grid ref. SP132704). Turn right and almost immediately turn left at a waymark. Maintain direction across three fields to join a track with a hedge on your left. Follow this south through Bickerscourt Farm to join the farm's access drive. Continue to a road junction and turn right along Pig Trot Lane. After 400 metres you reach a T-junction. Turn right, cross the railway and Danzey station is on your right.
