Circular walk exploring a section of the North Downs starting from Holly Hill. The route uses sections of the North Downs Way and Wealdway long distance paths. The walk includes the early Neolithic Coldrum Long Barrow, woodland, and some fine views of the surrounding countryside. A shorter route is available at Walk 2210.

The walk starts from the Holly Hill car park (grid ref. TQ670629) which is located a few kilometres north of Birling in the Medway Valley. After parking exit the parking area and turn right along the lane used to access the car park following the North Downs Way. After 500 metres you reach a T-junction. Go straight across the junction, pass through a kissing gate, and follow the path ahead. The path descends the escarpment through woodland. After 400 metres the path turns left and runs along the right-hand side of a field. At the bottom of the field turn right to follow an enclosed path Bear right at the next junction and continue along the North Downs Way for just over a kilometre to reach a tarmac lane (grid ref. TQ652613).

Turn right along the path signed to Coldrum Longbarrow. The path descends gently reaching the long barrow after 600 metres. After exploring the site retrace your steps back to the tarmac lane and turn right. Continue ahead to follow the path signed to Cuxton. Almost immediately turn left up steps to join the Wealdway. The path initially climbs the escarpment before heading north through Whitehorse Wood. Keep ahead at junctions and continue to White Horse Road (grid ref. TQ656624).

Turn right and after 100 metres turn left onto the signed Wealdway. The route crosses pastures for 600 metres to reach Leywood Road. Pass Little Delmar Farm on your left and take then next signed footpath on the right (grid ref. TQ659632). Cross the stile and head half-left across a field to a kissing gate following the Wealdway. The onward path then enters Luxon Wood and continues to Lockyers Hill (grid ref. TQ668641). Turn right along the road for 200 metres and turn right onto a signed footpath in a hedge to leave the Wealdway. After a short climb, the path leads to Wrangling Lane. Turn left and almost immediately turn right up a signed bridleway. The path climbs through woodland for 300 metres to reach a track (grid ref. TQ673643). Turn right to re-join the North Downs Way and continue for a kilometre to where a track feeds in from the right. Follow the track left, pass Holly Hill House on your left and return to the car park.
