During the walk you will enjoy some good views especially from Dry Hill. Dormans Station is served by Oxted Line trains from London Bridge.

Exit Dormans Station (grid ref. TQ396415) to the road and take the footpath opposite on the west side of the railway. You are now following the Tandridge Border Path. Continue ahead for 1.5 kilometres to reach a path junction which is after passing Cook's Pond Viaduct on your left. Turn left and follow the path through woodland to reach Wilderwick Road (grid ref. TQ403404). Turn right along the road and after 700 metres turn left onto a footpath. Continue through woodland, then turn left at the first waymark into a meadow. Cross two stiles and follow TBP east along the field edge. The onward path crosses fields to enter woodland. Cross a stream and bear right and then right again at a T-junction in the track. Turn right in front of a large house and continue south for 450 metres and turn left onto a track (grid ref. TQ419396) for a brief section in East Sussex.

Turn left over a stile, cross a field and over two stiles to enter woodland. After crossing two more stiles and a small bridge, pass through a gap into a field and bear right over a stile and follow waymarked path across fields to a road (grid ref. TQ430401). Turn left and then turn right along Smithers Lane. After 600 metres, just past a house called Smithers, turn left (Signed to Beeches Farm). Follow the lane (part of the Vanguard Way) past Woodlands Farm and continue to Beeches Farm. Turn left just before the farmhouse and then right to continue along the Vanguard Way and TBP. The path runs across the western flank of Dry Hill and leads to a hamlet and Moon’s Lane (grid ref. TQ430420).

Turn right and almost immediately left along a bridleway. The route crosses fields, passes through woodland. Exiting the trees and continue down to the first track and turn left. The track soon enters trees before reaching Dairy House Farm. Turn right after a stable yard and continue for 600 metres to reach a small copse on the left. Pass between gateposts and then head left and follow path across fields with a hedge on your right. Continue to Hollow Lane (grid ref. TQ406423). Cross to the enclosed path opposite which leads to High Street in Dormandsland.

Turn left along High Street and continue to reach a small church on the right. Turn right beside the church along The Platt. Fork left when you reach the Parish Room and follow The Platt. Fork right at the next junction and continue ahead along a narrow lane. At the end of the lane join the enclosed footpath ahead. Go straight ahead at a footpath junction and continue back to Dormans Station.
