This short walk near Bosherston visits the lily ponds which are beautiful when in flower. The route then crosses sandy Broad Haven beach back to the start. The start is the Broad Haven car park (grid ref. SR976939). This is reached by bearing left following the brown signs in Bosherston village.

After parking walk back up the lane towards Bosherston. Continue past the entrance to Trefalen Farm on your left. Follow the lane for 800 metres. The lane climbs slightly with a white bungalow appearing ahead. Before reaching the bungalow, turn right along a clear track between hedges. Cross the stile to the right of the gate and continue along the track. The path soon crosses a field to a gate at the far side. Entering another field, follow the wall which should be on your right. You soon reach the dunes where you cross the stile on your right and follow the sandy path down to the beach.

Bear left along the foot of the dunes to reach a wooden footbridge. Cross this and then a few metres later bear left to re-cross the stream on a concrete footbridge. Follow this path around the southern edge of the Lily Ponds. After passing the ruin of a pumphouse, keep straight ahead where a path forks to the left and continue to cross a wooden bridge over the western end of the Lily Ponds.

Reaching the other side, bear right and follow the path alongside the water. You soon reach a second wooden bridge after which you bear right. Continue to and cross a third grassy bridge. Continue along the clear path to reach a junction with a three-way fingerpost (grid ref. SR977944). Continue straight ahead down to the beach. Bear right over a wooden bridge crossed earlier in the walk and bear left onto the beach. Bear right along the edge on the dunes and continue along the beach to reach a stepped path at the far end. At the top go, through a gate into the car park.
