This Lake District walk follows the high ground surrounding Scandale to the north of Ambleside. The route includes a section of the Fairfield Horseshoe before descending to Scandale Pass. An ascent of Red Screes completes the horseshoe route. Wainwrights included in this walk are - Dove Crag, High Crag, Low Crad, Red Screes. A GPS File is available for download (see walk description).
