This North Pennine walk explores the area between the summits of Catterick Moss and Bollihope Carrs which lie to the south of Stanhops in Weardale. The route crosses pathless and sometimes rough terrain although in clear weather navigation is generally easy. Excellent views into Weardale are the reward for your efforts walking in this rarely visited high ground. A GPS File is available for download (see walk description).
