Llyn Arenig Fawr seen during an ascent of Arenig Fawr

Caption - An ascent of Arenig Fawr is straightforward and after leaving the shores of Llyn Arenig Fawr you climb a pleasant ridge that offers improving views as you gain height. In the middle distance the waters of Llyn Celyn can be glimpsed with some of the lower summits of the Arenigs in the distance.
