An easy family walk for an afternoon or summer evening over what is typical Hertfordshire open country to the east of the Chilterns. The Woodland Trust is planning to transform it into woodland and it may be interesting to watch how the project develops. In fifty years time one’s children may be saying “I remember when this was all fields ....“ and for once not be standing in a housing estate. There is a choice for refreshment at the end.
