A Yorkshire Dales walk that starts in Wharfedale at Bolton Abbey and climbs through the Valley of Desolation to Simon's Seat and Lord's Seat. These summits offer a granstand view over a large part of the Yorkshire Dales. The return is via Howgill from where the Dales Way is followed back to the start passing the dramatic waters of the Strid.
