The lengthy Lakeland route takes in the summits of Haycock, Scoat Fell, Steeple, Red Pike and Yewbarrow. It is a walk that needs a good level of fitness and some basic scrambling skills. Do choose a fine day to complete this route as the terrain can be confusing in low cloud. Suggested Maps It is recommended you take a map with you when following a walk route. The preferred scale is 1:25000 used by the Explorer series.
