A superb Snowdonia round that is challenging and rewarding. The eventual objective is the summit of Snowdon but the approach follows a route that sees few walkers and includes Moel Cynghorion en-route for Llyn Du'r Arddu before a steep climb takes you onto the Llanberis path to Snowdon. The return uses the quieter Snowdon Ranger path before following a cross-country route back to the start. Suggested Maps It is recommended you take a map with you when following a walk route. The preferred scale is 1:25000 used by the Explorer series.
Note : If two maps are listed at the same scale then either (a) both are required for full coverage of the route or (b) the route is covered on both maps.
