Brynich Farm Cottages are part of a delightful development with four beautiful cottages in a courtyard setting and are owned by keen active walkers. These 17th Century Grade II listed barns have been lovingly restored by the Jones family who have been at Brynich since 1965. With exposed timber beams, and many other original features they retain their wonderful rustic charm. The cottages have recently been redecorated to make your stay even more comfortable. All our cottages are non-smoking and we happily take dogs.

Positioned in the heart of the Brecon Beacons, Brynich really is the ideal spot for groups, family reunions or just a quiet, romantic break. There is a Barn next door that you can book if you wish to run an event or party, and a large children's indoor Play Barn on site which is ideal for tiring the kids out before the long journey home or on a wet afternoon.

Just 2km east of the bustling market town of Brecon, Brynich Farm is an ideal location to enjoy the wide variety of activities that the area has to offer. We are adjacent to the Brecon and Monmouthshire Canal, a National Cycle Route and are well positioned to access many of the great mountain bike routes around Mid and South Wales.

Information for Walkers

The Hayloft and Miller's cottages are both still available for a short break during the Hay Walking Festival 12th - 15th October 2012.  All four cottages are also still available for the March 2013 Crickhowell walking festival.

The owners are keen walkers themselves and are more than happy to give you advice and suggestions about walking routes in the area. Brynich Farm Cottages are located within a few minutes of the highest mountains in South Wales, which lie at the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The area abounds in a wide variety of walks from easy low level strolls to high level day hikes in some of the wildest country in Britain. The views from the summits of the Brecon Beacons are superb providing a wonderful reward for your efforts. Closer at hand are the 40 acres of farm surrounding the cottages with a nature trail that customers are welcome to explore during their stay.
