We have five handcrafted spacious yurts beautifully dressed with comfy beds and a cosy wood burner, each set in their own native hedged garden of wild flowers and ancient trees. If you are looking for a luxury glamping holiday in the beautiful county of Suffolk this is the place for you!
The yurts are a perfect place to experience the great outdoors in tranquil Suffolk with its big skies. The open communal spaces provide a much-loved campfire and fantastic areas to sit and enjoy the incredible sunsets surrounded by ancient oak trees.
There is a superb kitchen equipped with all you will need for your stay, French doors opening onto a patio overlooking a wild flower meadow and covered safari seating area, a great place for eating, socialising and relaxing.
Set around our great oak tree ‘The Barn’ provides an indoor space, here you can sit with a coffee browsing information on the local area and deciding on where to explore. Suffolk is the perfect place to explore beautiful beaches, countryside, nature reserves, castles and the picturesque villages of the Suffolk heritage coast. It is a wonderful area for cycling, walking, water sports and has superb music, food, art, literary culture and many festivals.
We have a small area selling local produce and a few things you may need for your stay. ‘The Barn also offers toys, games and books for one and all to enjoy, a great place to get together. Just outside the barn there is a children’s play area sympathetic to its surroundings, swing in the trees and find where the fairies live. The great oak tree provides the best rope swing that everyone should try!
Also, under the cover of the great oak is ‘The Retreat’ an outdoor kitchen and seating area where you can relax and enjoy our wonderful wood-fired pizzas. Truly glamping in luxury. The area retains a remote atmosphere and gives the impression that many of this century's changes have passed it by. Historic towns and villages dating back to before the Doomsday Book make this an area of peace and tranquillity.
