Even though the Peak District is a national park, a good deal of industrial activity still takes place within its boundaries. However nature has reclaimed a number of areas which were once extensively worked, often to the benefit of the local ecology. This walk visits one of those areas and concludes by going through part of the estate of one of our finest stately homes. A GPS File is available for download (see walk description).
