Wheal Coates, a former tin mine
Walk Photo 229401
Caption - A partially restored engine house at the disused mine of Wheal Coates. This is one of three engine houses pumping water from the 600 foot deep mine. It is owned by the National Trust and information boards explain the history of the tin mine, one of many in the St Agnes area. The coastal scenery here is magnificent.
