The Pigeon Tower at Rivington

Caption - The Pigeon Tower at Rivington. Just behind this tower Lord Leverhulme built a large bungalow. It was set on fire by one of the Suffragette's in protest. He built another one on the same site. Cost of the gardens and new bungalow 250,000 in 1925! The gardens are overgrown and the bungalow has gone, but you still see some of the stone flooring.
