A track on the other side of the wall continues over the hill and is later joined as you near the transmitter on Sutton Common. Bear left and follow the signed route through Higher Pethills Farmyard. Exit through a metal gate and follow the bridleway down through Rossen Clough After passing Civit Hills Farm on your left the route joins an access track (grid ref. SJ938688). Continue ahead down the track which continues down the valley soon becoming a tarmac lane. Continue to reach Hollin Lane and turn right back to the start.
