This easy walk explores the woodland of Parc le Breos, which lies on the north side of the A4118 between Parkmill and Penmaen. A former deer park, the mainly deciduous woodland offers and interesting walk. Along the way you walk along the dry valley of Green Cwm, pass a Neolithic burial chamber, pass Cathole Cave where remains of mammoths were discovered with Bronze Age tools nearby. The walk exits the woodland to follow a path with views to the Gower coast.

The walk starts from the Parc le Breos car park (grid ref. SS538896) which is signed off the A4118. After parking, cross to the tarmac drive opposite, with meatal railings and picnic tables on your left. Pass through the kissing gate and follow the drive ahead. You soon pass the Long Cairn on your left with a lime kiln on the right partly hidden by woodland. A short distance ahead, Cathole Cave is in the woodland above you on your right. This can be reached by taking a path on the right. Continue ahead to a cross track with a bench on your right (grid ref. SS533902).

Turn left along the Gower Way long distance footpath. The gently rising track soon passes another bench on your right. Continue ahead ignoring side paths and tracks reaching the edge of the woodland in just over a kilometre from the bench. The path then swings left and continues to exit the woodland by metal kissing gate onto a track (grid ref. SS524891). Turn left along the initially rising path on the northern flank of the Cefn Bryn ridge with a fine view to Three Cliffs Bay and Oxwich Point. The Gower Way soon turns sharp right where our route continues down the main path to a lane.

Bear left down the lane, pass a small parking are on the left and continue down to the A4118. Turn left along the main road, and cross with care to the narrow lane on the right. Continue ahead at the first junction and continue to pass the main building of Three Cliffs Holiday Park on your left. Continue along the lane which soon becomes a bridleway and continue ahead to the A4118. Turn right, and then left onto a lane soon passing the Gower Heritage Centre on your right. Continue along the lane back to the Parc le Breos car park.
