The Kentmere horseshoe is one of the classic Lake District fell walks. This shortened version still includes the summits of Yoke, Ill Bell, Froswick and Mardale Ill Bell. A side trip to High Street is an option. The return descends from the Nan Bield Pass and follows the Kentmere Valley. Wainwrights included in this walk are - Froswick, Ill Bell, Mardale Ill Bell, Yoke. A GPS File is available for download (see walk description). A route profile is also provided.
