Field paths, quiet lanes, walled tracks and a former railway are used for this Peak District walk that explores the area to the north of Hartington. Staying wholly within Derbyshire, the route includes much that is typical of this part of the Peak District including the village of Biggin and the upper reaches of the Dove Valley.
